The JJ ECC832 which is JJ number for the12DW7 & 7247 valve.This valve is mainly found in vintage American amplifiers such as the Original Ampeg SVT
The name ECC832 represents the fact that the valve is a dissimilar triode i.e. plate 1 is an ECC83-12AX7 valve whist plate 2 is an ECC82-12AU7 valve, hence why JJ called this valve an ECC832. Due to the fact that it is dissimilar triode it is not a replacement for an ECC83/12AX7 type.
The name ECC832 represents the fact that the valve is a dissimilar triode i.e. plate 1 is an ECC83-12AX7 valve whist plate 2 is an ECC82-12AU7 valve, hence why JJ called this valve an ECC832. Due to the fact that it is dissimilar triode it is not a replacement for an ECC83/12AX7 type.
